Rules and Procedures

You provide special links to Aviation Jobs Online: You will provide a link on the sponsoring website to Aviation Jobs Online. Each of these "special links" will connect directly to the Aviation Jobs Online Home Page, according to a special link format provided to you by Aviation Jobs Online.

We pay you for each new member: Each time someone follows the special link we provide you, and signs up for our job listing service, we pay you up to a 40 percent commission for bringing in the new member.

1. Setting Up Your AvJobs^TM Account and Earning Commissions
Registration: The first step in joining the AvJobs^TM Network is read the complete Legal Agreement and these Rules, then complete the registration form, which gives us all the information we need to cut and send you checks. During the registration process you will choose a user name and password. Please write these down as you will need them to access your AvJobs^TM Associate account. This is very important for our Customer Support group. It will help them pinpoint and resolve any problems you may have. Please write them down.

Banner Location and Size: After your sponsoring website has been approved, we will send you an e-mail notifying you that your website has been approved. If that banner code is placed on any other Website other than the site for which it is intended, you will be removed from the AvJobs^TM Associate Network and you will forfeit any commissions you may have accumulated (we have to be strict on this to protect all AvJobs^TM Associates).

Banner Placement: We will send you this HTML code to cut and paste onto the appropriate pages and the banner code will appear in the center of your page as:

Banner Size: The standard banner size for AvJobs^TM Network banner is 460 x 60 pixels. However, we reserve the right to use up to 600 x 100 pixels of space. The HTML banner code used will create a banner to accommodate this. The banner code should be cut and pasted into the appropriate page exactly as it is received and must not be changed in any way.

Commission Fee: Memberships sold by Aviation Jobs Online originating from a special link at your sponsoring website qualify to earn you commission fees. Memberships sold to customers who follow a special link from your sponsoring website to our Home Page, and signup as a result of that visit, will be considered qualifying for commissions. Commissions qualify so long as the customer completed a membership form as a result of following the special link provided on your site regardless of previous visits by the customer to Aviation Jobs Online from other links.

Commission Fee Amount: The purchase price of the membership will count toward the total sales during the calendar month. Only qualifying memberships that are sold by Aviation Jobs Online, and for which Aviation Jobs Online has received full payment will qualify for a commission fee. Commission fees will not be paid on shipping, handling, gift wrap and sales tax charges.

The total of such sales in any given month will generate commission fees, based upon the applicable percentage of such sales, according to the following schedule:

Special introductory period: You will earn a special introductory rate commission fee on all commission fee qualifying memberships sold under this program through June 30, 1997. This rate is currently set at 10%.

• Once the total amount of sales generated by your special link of any given calendar month equals $1,000 you qualify for a 15% commission on all those sales, retroactive to the beginning of that calendar month, plus a $100 bonus. One thousand dollars in generated memberships would equal a total of $250 in commission with bonus, a 25% total commission.
• When the total amount of sales generated by your special link of any given calendar month equals $3,000 you qualify for a 20% commission on all those sales, retroactive to the beginning of that calendar month, plus a $400 bonus. Three thousand dollars in generated memberships would equal a total of $1000 in commissions with bonus, a 33% total commission.
• When the total amount of sales generated by your special link of any given calendar month equals $10,000 you qualify for a 30% commissioin on all those sales, retroactive to the beginning of that calendar month, plus a $1000 bonus. Ten thousand dollars in generated memberships would equal a total of $4000 in commissions with bonus, a 40% total commission.

Commission Fee Payment: Aviation Jobs Online will send a commission check for the applicable commission fee (less any taxes required to be withheld under applicable law) and a statement of customer purchase activity to the Associate approximately 30 days after the end of each calendar month. Amounts less than $100.00 will be held until the calendar month in which the referral fee due exceeds $100.00, or until this agreement is cancelled. Commissions are paid approximately 45 days after the month in which they were earned, and are mailed out on the 15th of each month.

How You Get Paid: If you earn $90 in January, it will be held because the total did not exceed $100. By the end of February, you earn an additional $360. In March you earn another $280. Since charge-backs are most common during the first 30 days after a credit card order, and you will not receive a check for less that $100, you would not receive a payment for February during March. Your first check would be mailed out by the 15th of April for $450, and another check for $280 on the 15th May.

Returns and Cancellations: If a commission fee qualifying membership is later cancelled by the customer, its commission fee will be deducted from the next monthly payment sent to the Associate. If there is no next monthly payment, the Associate will be billed.

Order Processing: Aviation Jobs Online will be solely responsible for processing every order placed by a customer following a special link from your sponsoring website. Order entry will use the Aviation Jobs Online online ordering process. Order forms, payment processing, shipping, cancellations, returns, and related customer service are the responsibility of Aviation Jobs Online.

All of the rules, operating procedures and policies of Aviation Jobs Online regarding customer orders and accounts will apply to orders we receive through special links on your sponsoring website. Aviation Jobs Online reserves the right to reject any order that does not comply with our rules, operating procedures and policies.

Tracking of Sales: Aviation Jobs Online will be solely responsible for tracking sales we make to customers who follow special links from the sponsoring website. The Associate will be solely responsible for ensuring that these special links are formatted properly, a necessary prerequisite to tracking such sales. Statements of qualifying memberships sales activity will be provided to the Associate. The HTML banner code we provide you may not be edited or changed in any way. Websites that edit or change this code are subject to removal from the Network and will forfeit any commissions accumulated.

Totals of commission fees qualifying membership sales, related to special links from the sponsoring website, will be reported for each qualifying membership. To protect Aviation Jobs Online customer privacy, the names or other personal information about specific customers will not be provided to the Associate.

Aviation Jobs Online policy applies to all orders: Every customer who buys a membership through this program is deemed to be a customer of Aviation Jobs Online. The Associate does not have the authority to make or accept any offer on behalf of Aviation Jobs Online. All Aviation Jobs Online policies regarding customer orders, including pricing and problem resolution, will apply to these customers. Aviation Jobs Online is not responsible for any representations made by the Associate which contradict our policies.

Membership prices and availability: The price charged for every membership sold under this program will be determined by Aviation Jobs Online according to our own pricing policies. Membership prices may vary from time to time, including price increases and special discounts offered by Aviation Jobs Online. You may not specify membership prices on your sponsoring website, and Aviation Jobs Online policies will always determine the price paid by the customer.

Acknowledging Aviation Jobs Online on the sponsoring website: A small graphic image will be provided by Aviation Jobs Online which identifies the sponsoring website as an Aviation Jobs Online Associate Network member. Aviation Jobs Online reserves all rights in or to its trademark. The HTML code we provide must be prominently displayed somewhere on the sponsoring website.

The exact text or graphical image of this message must be displayed on the sponsoring website, and is subject to change from time to time at the discretion of Aviation Jobs Online.

Sites that Do Not Qualify for the Aviation Jobs Online Associates Network are listed in the Legal Agreement.

2. Managing Your Website
Adding A Link To Other Pages On Your Website: You may add the HTML banner code to any current page on your website so long as they do not contain any of the limitations setforth in the Legal Agreement. If any such pages are added without the permission of Aviation Jobs Online, you and your website will be permanently removed from the AvJobs^TM Associate Network.

You will not be eligible for commissions until you have posted html code to your website and each page is reviewed by our Quality Review Team. This is to ensure the page content is acceptable to Aviation Jobs Online, and complies with the Rules and Agreement.

Content change notification: If you decide to change the content of one of your existing website pages, you need to notify us so we can check out the new content of the page. It is important to note that if you change to unacceptable content, you will be removed from the Network (sorry, but we have to protect the interests of all associates). Once submitted, our Quality Review Team will initiate a content review to ensure the content changes conform to our quality standards.

3. Provisions
Quality Review Procedures: Approving/Rejecting Websites
While we fully support your right to free speech, the Network is an advertising network. We do not want to appear on sites with inappropriate content or content that may offend our sponsors and their customers. Our Quality Review Team reviews all pages before they are allowed to officially join the Network and regularly checks all Network websites. We look at each page, and our quality review is done on a site by site basis (our Quality Review Team looks at each page, and the links off that page). If the content of each page, and the content of the links off each page are acceptable, the website is approved. To help you understand the type of content we consider acceptable, please review this guideline:

If the page has only content that would be printed in a major national newspaper, then it is likely to be acceptable. That means there is no nudity, obscenity or inappropriate language. We also look at the links off your page. If the content on pages linked off your page could be also printed in a major national newspaper, then the page is likely to be acceptable. Additionally, all Network pages must be of a reasonable quality level and based on original content.

Restrictions on personal use: This program is intended for commercial use only, paying referral fees for qualifying memberships sold to third parties who follow a special link from your sponsoring website. Associates who use this program to purchase memberships for their own use are in violation of the agreement. Aviation Jobs Online may, in its sole discretion, terminate this agreement and/or withhold payment of referral fees if we find that such personal use has occured.

Website service interruption: Aviation Jobs Online will make every effort to keep its website operational. However, certain technical difficulties may, from time to time, result in temporary service interruptions. The Associate agrees not to hold Aviation Jobs Online liable for any of the consequences of such interruptions.

Important note:If you choose to violate the Agreement and Rules by changing the content of your pages to an unacceptable one without telling us, or by placing the banner code on an unauthorized website, you will be instantly and permanently removed from the Network and you will forfeit all unpaid commissions. So just keep us informed, okay?!

Data Tracking: Aviation Jobs Online keeps tracking reports on the activity of all Network pages. You have access to the information to your account via username and password located on the Tracking Center page.

The following paragraph applies to existing affiliates only. New associates begin earning associates as soon as the banner(s) become active on their page(s), and their website has been approved.

Removal From The Network: In order to protect the interests of all Network Associates, we retain the right to remove associates at our discretion. If for some reason an associate is removed from the program but has not violated the Rules or the Agreement, we will pay any applicable commission we owe that associate. If the associate is removed from the Network because of a violation of the Rules or the Agreement, all unpaid commission will be forfeited.

Changing Provision of these Rules and Procedures: We may change any provisions of these Rules and Procedures upon prior email notice to you.
